The Service commences soon after Foundry Business Center is installed and training is completed. A select set of
castings (those that have quality and /or yield issues) is chosen¹. We handhold and work with you
to achieve optimality in the method for these castings, starting with casting and existing method
analysis, which serve as the benchmarks, and going on to arrive at optimal methods, through
Foundry Business Center. Improvements are documented, with metrics that are unambiguous and agreed by both
parties. These improvements are such that they can be quantified in financial terms. The Service
ends once the sum total of the Benefits derived from the improved methods reaches /crosses the
investment made by the Customer in Foundry Business Center.
This Service is provided at a very nominal charge. Besides, all expenses incurred by us in
performing this Service – essentially the travel and related expenses – should be reimbursed or
taken care of².
